Build Your Own
Nothing in the marketplace fits? Describe what you want and have Otta build it.
If the marketplace does not have what you want, build it.
Solazah ships a plugin development kit (DevKit), and Otta knows how to use it — so building a plugin is something you can do entirely by talking.
The fast path: ask Otta
Describe what you want:
Build me a plugin: I paste in some text, it converts it to pinyin
It creates the project, writes the code and runs it so you can see. Keep going if it is not right:
Initials should be an option too
Add a button that copies the result
Changes show up immediately.
What a plugin can do
| Capability | What it means |
|---|---|
| Appear in the search box | Register commands users find by name |
| Have its own UI | Full window, floating panel, or no UI at all |
| Give Otta new tools | Declared tools become part of Otta's capability |
| Read and write files | Inside the workspace sandbox |
| Bind shortcuts | Users can bind a global key to your command |
Writing the code yourself
DevKit provides the full local workflow: scaffold a project, run a dev server, hot reload, debug.
Type "DevKit" in the search box. Having Otta walk you through it once is the fastest start:
Scaffold a new plugin project with DevKit, I want to write it myself
Publishing
When it is ready you can publish to the marketplace — publicly, or privately for just you or your team.
